About Us

MattoMattia is a project born from the instinctive impulse of someone who felt, more with their gut than with their head, that it was time to create something of their own.

It all began in front of a mirror, amidst the sound of scissors and a question that arose by chance during a haircut, when the intuition between Mattia and Ivano transformed a reflection into a concrete vision.

Our garments are deliberately outside the logic of mass production: our collections consist of a few models, produced in limited series or as unique pieces, ready for those who choose to define their own identity rather than follow the flow.

Each piece is crafted with sartorial care, designed to be comfortable, inclusive, often unisex, and with an oversized fit.

We address those who seek in clothing a language to express themselves, a way to emerge naturally even in the chaos of the crowd.

We dress those who wish to be recognizable for their uniqueness, enhancing their personality through conscious aesthetic choices that are far from standardization. Our philosophy is that of contemporary tailoring linked to the principles of the circular economy.

We use high-quality fabrics from stocks destined for large productions, giving them a new life, and we source buttons and accessories from the warehouse inventories of small, resilient haberdasheries, guardians of details that time has not eroded.

Alongside these materials, we recover precious bed linen from luxury hotel facilities which, due to minor imperfections, can no longer be used for their original purpose: we transform them into garments or linings, sometimes dyeing or hand-painting them in an artisanal way.

This approach means that each piece carries with it small variations that make it unique.

Rather than chasing seasons and trends, we prefer to be guided by what truly inspires us, designing a style that can last over time and enhance the identity of the wearer.

MattoMattia has just been born, and much more is yet to come, but every item we create solves real problems with clean design and authentic materials.

It is the beginning of a personal story, a first step taken not to be like others, but to stand out at first glance.
